尊敬的家长们，大家好！

今天，我们在这里召开四年级英语家长会，旨在与大家共同探讨孩子们在英语学习上的进步与挑战，以及如何更好地支持他们的成长。首先，请允许我代表四年级英语教师团队，对各位家长的到来表示热烈的欢迎和衷心的感谢。

在过去的一年里，我们见证了孩子们在英语学习上的点滴进步。他们从最初的字母认知，到现在的简单对话，再到阅读和写作的初步尝试，每一步都离不开家长们的关心和支持。

From the initial recognition of letters to the current simple conversations, and to the preliminary attempts in reading and writing, every step could not have been achieved without the care and support of the parents.)

首先，我想谈谈孩子们的英语学习态度。我们注意到，许多孩子在课堂上表现出极高的学习热情，他们积极参与课堂活动，敢于开口说英语。这种积极的态度对于语言学习至关重要。同时，我们也希望家长们能够在家里营造一个良好的英语学习氛围，鼓励孩子多听、多说、多读、多写。

（Firstly, I would like to talk about the children's attitude towards English learning. We have noticed that many children show a high level of enthusiasm for learning in class, actively participating in classroom activities, and daring to speak English. This positive attitude is crucial for language learning. At the same time, we also hope that parents can create a good English learning atmosphere at home and encourage the children to listen, speak, read, and write more.)

其次，关于英语学习的方法。我们建议家长们关注以下几点：

1. 鼓励孩子多听英语。可以通过听英语歌曲、观看英语动画片、收听英语广播等方式，让孩子在轻松愉快的氛围中接触英语。

（Secondly, regarding the methods of English learning, we suggest that parents pay attention to the following points:）

1. Encourage the children to listen to English. This can be done through listening to English songs, watching English animated films, listening to English broadcasts, and so on, allowing the children to be exposed to English in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

2. 培养孩子的英语口语表达能力。可以通过角色扮演、小组讨论等方式，让孩子在实际交流中提高英语口语水平。
